Heh. I go through all the trouble of making a video centred around a Christian game, around Christmas time, and forget to wish everyone a Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, etc. GO ME! 8D
There's actually a website related to the VOGONS forums I frequent called VogonsDrivers that has downloads of many old driver files, needed to get certian hardware and software working properly. One of the disk images there (mountable in DOSBox with IMGMOUNT or accessible using a disk imaging program) contains the SBFMDRV.COM file needed to get music working in this game: http://www.vogonsdrivers.com/getfile.php?fileid=48
Alternatively, the SOUND.COM file included with Adlib drivers should provide the same functionality. ;)
When I make note that the Bible isn't copied "word for word", I'm aware that the ideas of each passage come across similarly, but thanks to the internet I had the ability to check things in numerous different Bible printings and few of the passages I looked up were the exact same between them all.
There's also a bug with the game where if the key is present and you get a game over, when you start a new game the key can still be picked up from the position it was last in, even though it's not rendered and you're not yet supposed to be able to grab it.
Those wondering what religion I practice, I am a religion of one. My beliefs and the morals and ethics I live by are my own and are not shared 100% completely by any other person on the face of this planet. That said, many of the things I do believe and hold true do come across in other religions, including Christianity, mostly things related to respect, forgiveness, and peace. :)
This is seriously one of my most requested reviews; People having watching my 50th episode and wondering how on Earth I could've avoided something in the directory list with such an obvious name. Truth be told, I did notice it, but I wasn't prepared to look at it because I wasn't sure how best to do so without offending anyone because I'm not well versed in what is and isn't offensive to a Christian. I actually looked up information on how to properly pronounce Jesus' name before doing this filler! (Turns out, the pronounciation is actually insignificant. What matters is HOW you use his name.)
