VVVVVV Levels

So far, all I have made is one custom level for the Distractionware game VVVVVV, and while it's not very big I still managed to squeeze a lot of scripting into it, as well as a typical (and fun) VVVVVV story!

The basic story is that one day, Captain Viridian and his crew are crusing along while Doctor Violet is performing some subspace communications experiments. All of a sudden, there's a brilliant flash and Captain Viridian finds himself alone in a massive room overlooking a huge reactor that's apparently in a destabilized state and needs to be shut down ASAP before bad things happen. Thus you must not only help Captain Viridian find his fellow crewmates, but shut down the reactor as well and find a way back to your ship!

In order to play this custom level, you will need the full version of VVVVVV. Simply unzip the file into the VVVVVV folder inside your "My Documents"/"Documents" folder and you should be good to go! At least on the Windows side of things. I'm not sure how to install custom levels on other operating systems but if you check out the Distractionware website you should be able to find some instructions. ;)

If you want to see a little bit of my "Reactor Disaster" level in action, check out my short review of VVVVVV in ADG Filler #8! Also, there are some screenshots of the level below. Click to enlarge them!
