NOTE: Change the direction you're facing with the Z key by default, or the second joystick button. This is explained in the in-game help system but is frequently missed by new players.

System Requirements:

Microsoft Windows® 98 or Greater
133 Mhz Pentium® Processor or Better (333 Mhz or better recommended)
32 MB RAM (64 MB RAM recommended)
Microsoft DirectX® 8.0 or Greater

The shareware version of PixelShips Retro features 8 levels which are not randomized, thus are the same each time you play the game. With effort, you can fly up to 24 of the 160 different PixelShips. You cannot access the two secret skill levels or use cheat codes. A nag screen will pop up when you quit to remind you to buy it.

PixelShips Retro Registered v1.13 Patch

The patch update addresses the following issues:

Fixed the palette colour problems some users had when running full-screen
Fixed a minor bug with the end-level bonuses sometimes not tallying up

This patch will update any previous registered version of PixelShips Retro to v1.13. It will not function on the shareware version. To update the shareware version, simply download the latest version.
