Click here to download PixelShips Retro Shareware v1.11!

NOTICE: It IS possible to change directions in the game. The default key to change directions is 'Z' or the second joystick button and can be changed with F3 or F4. This is also explained in the in-game help system.

System Requirements:
      * Microsoft Windows® 98/ME/2K/XP
      * 133 Mhz Pentium® Processor or Better (333 Mhz or better HIGHLY recommended.)
      * 32 MB RAM (64 MB RAM for Windows 2000/XP)
      * Microsoft DirectX® 8.0 or Higher

      The shareware version of PixelShips Retro features 8 levels which are not randomized, thus are the same each time you play the game. With effort, you can fly up to 24 of the 160 different PixelShips. You cannot access the two secret skill levels or use cheat codes. A nag screen will pop up when you quit to remind you to buy it.

PixelShips Retro Registered v1.11 Patch

The patch update addresses the following issues:
* Keyboard and display changing problems introduced in v1.1 have been fixed.
* Performance has been greatly improved on all systems thanks to new input handler and timing routines.
* Installing the game on a Vista® or networked system should be less of a hassle now.
* Configuration files and high scores are now saved per login.
* Several spelling mistakes have been corrected.
* Joysticks will now properly read buttons beyond the 8th if present.
* A very rare crash bug has been fixed.

      This patch will update v1.0 and v1.1 of the registered version of PixelShips Retro. It will not function on the shareware version. To update the shareware version, simply download the latest version.
