This classic arrangement of double-sized and single-sized squares gives you a situation where most of the big squares touch 8 other squares but most of the small ones only touch 4 other squares!

Regular, Large

Although this pattern looks harmless, it is one of the most difficult in this style set. This is because each quad of small squares is affected by many of the same squares surrounding them, meaning that a lot of thought is necessary to get anywhere on these boards.

Because of the amount of space between each big square these boards end up being much simpler than all the others in the Big n' Little Squares set. But do be careful about those big squares... each one touches 12 little squares!

Very similar to the Windows style, except the big squares are arranged in sets of four. Each big square only touches 10 other squares as a result. Just like the Windows pattern, this is a simple pattern to play.

The squares are arranged in alternating columns of big squares and little squares. Although each big square touches 8 other squares, the small squares alternate touching 4 and 6 squares. This can be a tricky pattern to get the hang of but is certainly not the hardest pattern in the lot.
Narrow Scatter

Regular, Large
Difficulty: Easy

A slightly more difficult variety of the Windows pattern where each big square is offset by a square, creating a sort of scattering effect across the grid. It does take some thought to clear a Narrow Scatter board, but no more than it would take for a Squares style board.
Wide Scatter

Regular, Large

This grid has many more small squares than big squares. The big squares are far apart from each other, positioned in their own little way. This pattern is certainly easy, the big squares just sort of throw your for a curve every once in awhile!

This unique grid comes in only one size. It features expanding layers of alternating small and big squares, arranged in a square pattern. Because of the way this pattern is shaped almost anything can happen as you progress through it.
