I didn't explain the power pellets because honestly, do I really have to? They make it so that enemies are worth points instead of death. Though actually, unlike in the original Pac-Man, the enemies each change back to normal individually and at different speeds, which makes them less predictable and the game harder.

There's actually a couple versions of the pre-release, the later of which has a special screen prior to starting up to indicate that the full game can be purchased. There's also supposedly a full release that has the Pac-Man pie-slice character instead of the Snoofer, but my research couldn't prove one way or another if this actually exists. :P
