Equipping Oneself for Battle: · To get far in Jade Fighter Arena it's always important to have the most kick-butt equipment you can purchase, and this does not necessarily equate to the amount of damage a weapon can do. For example, early on you might find an enchanted weapon in the store that does only 10 HP damage compared to your current weapon that does 13. The enchanted weapon will be able to preform special attacks though which may do more damage on average than your current weapon. Be smart about what equipment you purchase. · The BattleStaff and Serrated Staff are two weapons you want to get your hands on if you can. They can preform the Twin-Hit attack which is far more effective than almost any other attack. · The Masmune can ONLY preform armor-piercing moves so even if it's made of wood get your hands on one as soon as the chance arrives! · Given the choice between a new weapon and a new piece of armor, always go with the weapon first. Combat: · Don't just pick targets at random, strategize. There are two major strategies you can use. The one that will net you the most wins is to always go for the strongest opponents first, since the weaker ones will be far less capable of hurting you. The other method is to go for the weaker opponents first, which will net you more spending money early on but will not be effective in scoring wins. · To skip ahead in combat, just hold the ALT or CTRL button down while it's not your turn. This way you wont skip your own turn as the AI hacks and slashes about. · In the rare chance that someone is frozen on your turn, aim for him. They'll shatter into many pieces and be worth a bit of extra cash! (Plus the audiance loves it.) |
